Preview fails with too many files

Clicking on the "Eye" Preview icon, leads to a browser crash if too many files (entities?) are behind a property list. The following script creates this situation with entities. It does take about 2min in the browser to open the preview, but it does work (using 5000 references; call python3 test.py 5000). test.py
