Allow changing passwords for users from REALM PAM
Created by: Alexander Schlemmer
Currently if I try to change a password for a user in REALM PAM, the following exception occurs:
drwatson | UNKNOWN ERROR
drwatson |
drwatson | org.caosdb.server.database.exceptions.TransactionException: The password from the realm 'PAM' cannot be updated. Only the users from the realm 'CaosDB' can change their passwords from withing caosdb.

Is it actually possible to change passwords for users in other REALMS? If yes, I would like to keep this issue as a feature request.

Answer
No, it is not possible. Only the CaosDB is under control of the caosdb server.
