Updating entities or roles results in an unknown server error

Summary

When updating anything (users, roles, entity permissions) via the graphical user/permissions management interface, an Unknown Error occurs. E.g., updating anonymous by denying the ACCESS_SERVER_PROPERTIES permission:

Creating new roles, users, ... works fine, though.

Expected Behavior

Should be possible.

Actual Behavior

Results in errors

Steps to Reproduce the Problem

1. Start a LinkAhead profile with envoy_enabled: true and acm in the most recent version of the f-entity-permissions branch
2. Try updating any role, user, or entity ACL
3. For comparison, create a new role, ... to verify that this works.
